DISCUSSION GUIDE AND LESSON PLANS

This guide aims to provide educational lesson plans, materials tool kit, and a community discussion guide to support the understanding of issues presented in the documentary SINGLE-USE PLANET. Flexible and adaptable, the guide is appropriate for use by high school and college educators to enhance and complement existing curricula or to support students and citizens in developing grassroots campaigns. The lesson plans can be used to support and deepen content areas such as Environmental Studies, Environmental Justice, U.S. History American Democracy, Political Science, Civics, Sociology and Sustainability. Multigenerational activists, educators and community leaders can use this guide as a resource after screenings of the film.
